A Date With Judy - The Frank Sinatra Builldup

Judy and her brother Randolph plan a theater party as an anniversary gift for their parents. They decide to take their parents to see a show at the Bijou featuring amateur performances, including Judy's friend Willie, who intends to sing and gain attention. Meanwhile, their father struggles with an important business deal with Mr. Gibbons, who is also attending the theater party. As the kids rally a group to swoon for Willie's performance, chaos ensues when Randolph brings in white mice, causing Mr. Gibbons to faint and adding to the mayhem of the evening. Despite the chaos, Mr. Gibbons later appreciates Willie's musical potential and offers him a future in advertising for his tomato business, leading to unexpected success for the children.
