The Big Red Part 2

Originally Aired: January 10, 1952 Dragnet #135, "The Big Red Part 2," Sergeant Joe Friday continues his undercover operation to crack a major narcotics ring. After suspects Stan Parish and Max Higby are arrested, Parish agrees to cooperate with Friday, Captain Kearney, and partner Ed Jacobs. Despite suffering withdrawal symptoms, Parish provides crucial information about the gang's leader, Red, and his operation. Captain Kearney devises a dangerous plan: Friday will confront Red at his hotel with a dummy package of powdered sugar, claiming Parish and Higby cheated him out of six thousand dollars for fake heroin. Friday enters Red's hotel room with a gun drawn, accusing him of the double-cross.
