About this episode
A ruthless criminal and his manipulative wife set out to make history by committing the “perfect” kidnapping. Branding her husband as the feared “Shotgun Hadley,” Sally Hadley orchestrates the abduction of an Oklahoma millionaire and demands a massive ransom—confident she can outsmart the FBI. But careful victim testimony, patient federal investigation, and the tracking of marked ransom bills slowly close the net. As greed and paranoia unravel the couple’s partnership, the case ends with a dramatic arrest and the downfall of one of the most notorious kidnapping teams of the era.
