A Date With Judy - Father's Night of Rest

Oogie Pringle's orchestra gets evicted from his father's garage due to noise complaints, which complicates his preparation for the upcoming tryouts for the senior prom band. Desperate to help, Judy Foster offers their living room for the practice, much to her father's dismay, who is intent on getting a good night's sleep. Mr. Foster takes extreme measures by putting cotton in his ears and disconnecting the doorbell, leading to chaos when the family returns home late from a movie, unable to wake him. They eventually enlist the police to investigate, believing he may be in danger. The misunderstanding is resolved when Judy confirms her father's identity, allowing the family to navigate their way through the night's mishaps while juggling the comedic elements of Oogie's band troubles and Mr. Foster's attempts to avoid disturbance.
