Originally Aired: January 23, 1939 The Lone Ranger #935, "Enemy Of Justice," the masked rider and Tonto follow a mysterious trail toward the town of Springdale. They discover evidence of an ambush near Yellow Creek that left six men dead, with one survivor fleeing on foot. Strangely, a lone horseman has been trailing the walking man at a careful distance the entire way, never catching up despite being mounted. The Lone Ranger is determined to solve this puzzle and find both men before reaching town. Meanwhile, Dave arrives home exhausted after his harrowing escape from the Indian ambush. He carries not only his own savings but the money belonging to all his dead companions, which he insists on returning to their widows and families. Despite his wife's pleas to rest and leave the dangerous task of carrying so much cash until morning, Dave feels duty-bound to immediately inform the sheriff and personally break the tragic news to the bereaved families, unaware that he may still be in danger.
