A Date With Judy - Father's Birthday

Judy and her brother Randolph prepare a special celebration for their father's birthday, planning to spend the entire day together to show him how much they appreciate him. They initially struggle to find a suitable gift, eventually deciding on a smoking jacket, which they charge to his account. When they try to surprise him at his office, their father is preoccupied with an important business meeting. Determined to give him a happy birthday, they take him to an amusement park, where chaos ensues as they accidentally involve his business associate, Mr. Quigley, and attempt to set him up with a date. Throughout the day, their father becomes increasingly exasperated with the situation, ultimately leading to a humorous conclusion where Mr. Quigley expresses his enjoyment of the day and even asks for a date with someone from the gang.
