A Date With Judy - Meatloaf

Judy is excited about her date with Oogie Pringle, who is overly affectionate after writing her a song, while her father and brother, Randolph, express disapproval of Oogie’s frequent visits. Judy and Randolph go to the dog pound to choose a new mascot for Oogie’s baseball team, eventually deciding on a large dog, whom they name Tiny. Judy's mother, Dora, is strongly against having a dog at home, putting Judy in a difficult position. Meanwhile, Judy's father, Melvin, finds himself tasked with cooking dinner for the family and is unaware that the ground meat he plans to use for meatloaf has already been eaten by Tiny. Melvin and his friend, Henry, end up accidentally using dog food instead, which leads to a series of humorous misunderstandings when Aunt Eva arrives for dinner. In the end, the mix-up resolves itself when it’s revealed that the butcher mistakenly swapped Judy’s dog food with ground round steak for a neighbor, leaving everyone finally able to enjoy dinner without knowing they nearly ate dog food.
