A Date With Judy - The President

Judy Foster believes her father, Melvin Foster, is running for president of the United States after overhearing a phone conversation, but he is actually a candidate for president of the Heave Ho Businessmen's Association. The misunderstanding escalates when news spreads, leading to phone calls from various media outlets as they mistake his candidacy for the presidency. Meanwhile, Judy's brother Randolph and his friend Curly work on their mimeographed paper, inadvertently amplifying the confusion. As the fallout from the miscommunication unfolds, Melvin becomes the butt of jokes but ultimately finds himself elected president of the Heave Ho Association as a consolation for his supposed political ambitions. The episode humorously explores the chaos and excitement that ensues from a simple mix-up combined with the challenges of family dynamics.
