About this episode
Judy Foster is excited after being chosen to represent Minnie Haha on a float for the Indian Commemoration Day Parade, and she persuades her boyfriend Oogie to play Hiawatha. Oogie is initially reluctant to finance the costume but eventually agrees after Judy sweet-talks him. Meanwhile, Judy's father, Melvin Foster, is in Cleveland and inadvertently becomes involved in the festivities when he mistakenly assumes he is bringing home a real princess, leading to a humorous misunderstanding. Upon Melvin's return, he and Judy must navigate the chaos that ensues when the Princess Pocatello arrives and Judy's father's mix-up regarding her identity. Ultimately, after the confusion is cleared, Melvin enjoys the limelight at the reception while Judy and Oogie successfully participate in the parade, ending on a light-hearted note about their romance amid the festivities.
