A Date With Judy - Judy Foster, Captain of Industry

Judy decides she wants to start her own business and proposes a perfume company, "Teen and 20 Perfumes," with her friends Mitzi and Oogie. They brainstorm ideas, recruit their friend Randolph as treasurer, and even convince Judy's father to invest in the venture. As they attempt to set up their business, comical mishaps occur, including disastrous kitchen experiments with scents. Judy's father later gifts them a rundown property, initially considered a burden, which turns out to be valuable when a highway is planned to pass through it. However, it is ultimately revealed that the highway will be tunneled rather than built above ground, making the property worthless again. Despite the setbacks, a letter arrives from a well-known perfume company interested in buying their trade name for $250, which brings a sigh of relief to Judy's father and restores his confidence in her entrepreneurial spirit. The story concludes with Judy asserting her commitment to her career, which causes tension in her relationship with Oogie, who pressures her to prioritize their future together.
