About this episode
When FBI agents witness a visiting Japanese prince bowing to an ordinary chauffeur on the San Francisco waterfront, the unusual encounter sparks an investigation into a secret espionage network operating on American soil. Their suspicions center on Yasu Kajioka, a seemingly unremarkable driver with powerful connections to Japanese military officials and a clandestine organization raising funds for Japan's war effort. With the help of a courageous Japanese-American college student working undercover, federal agents uncover secret membership records and evidence of preparations for a coming conflict. As tensions between the United States and Japan escalate, the FBI continues its surveillance, waiting for the moment it can finally act. The investigation reaches its dramatic conclusion following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Originally aired: July 20, 1945. Cast: Frank Lovejoy, Ted Osborne, Dramatic Ensemble
